Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SiteCert (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in connection with the SiteCert mobile application (the “App”). It is provided to comply with the requirements of the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. If you have any questions about this policy, you can contact us at sales@sitecert.net.

The SiteCert App does not collect, store, or process any personal data from its users. We do not request or access: • Your name, email address, phone number, or postal address • Your device contacts, calendars, or photos • Your precise or approximate location • Your advertising identifier (IDFA / GAID) • Any other personally identifiable information

Any inspection data, checklists, notes, or equipment records that you create within the App are stored locally on your device and, if you choose to use the cloud-sync feature, are transmitted directly to your organisation’s designated SiteCert cloud instance. We do not access, process, or retain this data on our own servers.

The App does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not share data with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics providers. If your organisation has enabled cloud synchronisation, data is handled in accordance with your organisation’s own SiteCert cloud terms and data-processing agreements.

Even though the App does not collect personal data, we maintain appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect any information stored within the App or transmitted via cloud sync. This includes encryption in transit (TLS) and encryption at rest where applicable.

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the App, please contact us and we will work with your organisation to delete such information.

Because the App does not collect personal data, there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete within our systems. If your organisation uses the SiteCert cloud platform and you wish to exercise data-protection rights (such as access, rectification, erasure, or portability), please contact your organisation’s SiteCert administrator or reach out to us at sales@sitecert.net and we will direct your request appropriately.

We do not retain personal data because we do not collect it. Inspection data created by you is retained on your device and, if applicable, on your organisation’s SiteCert cloud instance according to your organisation’s own retention policies.

If your organisation uses cloud sync, data may be stored in the geographic region selected by your organisation’s administrator. We do not transfer personal data internationally on our own behalf because we do not collect such data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the policy within the App and on our website. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
