LEEA’s Liftex 2014
LEEA now Annual Liftex is taking a new turn this year and is being held in conjunction with the Safety-Health Expo in the Excel Arena on 17th June 2014.
This must be welcomed as it will increase the profile of LEEA within the health and safety community, who at the end of the day are buyers of your services.
While LEEA is now the standard internationally, especially in underdeveloped countries who do not have advanced legislation – it is important to LEEA that its reputation is kept in high esteem in its home country.
For international visitors, the new London venue is welcomed given the connections available which is often a major factor in deciding on whether to attend or not. The weather should also be nicer than the midlands in November!
One disappointing change is the list of profiles of Liftex stands is mixed in with all the rest of the exhibitors so getting information is difficult specifically for Lifting Industry. However, once onsite all the LEEA exhibits will be located near each other. http://liftex.org/exhibitors is the website for a list of all the Liftex exhibitors.
The last time that I visited the Excel Arena was for a Boxing Event at the London Olympics and it is a very easy location to get to with numerous options. One method, however will interest those in the wire rope sector, and that is the Emirates Air Line (Cable Car) which crosses the Thames. Click here for more information.
Sitecert, although a regular Liftex Exhibitor is not taking a stand this year.
Technology has changed and Sitecert can now offer free trials of our software on i-Phones, Android devices. Customers can then get a greater understanding of the savings our mobile inspection software for lifting equipment brings.

We will be in attendance at Liftex this year in case we do miss something and will be taking in the other exhibitions also. We do intend on exhibiting in 2015 as we will be launching a new technology which will be a game changer for the lifting industry.
